Park City, UT – Park City Mountain Resort has announced new family programming in time for Spring Break.n“Spring Break is a great time for family vacations, which is why we’ve decided to test out a few new programs,” says Mary Flinn Ware, Park City Mountain Resort Kids Mountain School Manager and resident Snowmama. “We’ve identified a need for ladies looking for a group to enjoy the mountain with and refresh their skills in the process.”
Join Park City Mountain Resort’s “Ladies Club” to pick up new skills and learn the mountain like a local. With a few hours free in the morning…what’s a girl going to do? Led by Park City Mountain Resort’s own female pro instructors, this group will teach you more than just a few tricks to improve your skills. You will walk away with new favorite runs, plus tips that will help you ski the mountain like a local. Whether your current skills take you on green or blue/black terrain, meet at the Kid’s Korral 5 at 9:50 a.m. Sundays through Tuesdays through March 29. Sessions last from 10 a.m. to noon and cost $45. Reservations are recommended, but not always required. Call (800) 227-2754 to make reservations.
Easter is so much fun at Park City Mountain Resort, they’ve decided to celebrate early at 9 a.m. sharp on Sunday, April 3. The event at the Kid’s Korral include an egg hunt with a visit from the Easter Bunny for children ages six and under. Pastries, hot chocolate and coffee will be served. Older children and adults are invited to participate in an Easter Egg Hunt on the First Time face. The Annual “Hunt for the Golden Egg” will take place all over the mountain with two golden eggs containing 2011-12 season passes. Non-golden eggs containing prizes including 2011 Summer Activities, 2011-2012 lift tickets and more will also be hidden on the mountain. The event is free, although a valid lift ticket or season pass is required for mountain access.
