Twin Bridges, CA – A snowboarder missing for nearly 24 hours from Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort in Twin Bridges near Lake Tahoe was found dead Sunday in a tree well.nEl Dorado County Search and Rescue members found Phillip Walker, 22, of San Jose, Calif., just before noon on Sunday. He had been snowboarding with his brother and some friends at Sierra-at-Tahoe on the resort’s Upper Powderhorn trail on Saturday when they became separated.

It was unclear whether Walker died from striking the tree or suffocating in the tree well.
