11-Year-Old Georgia Boy Killed in Ski Collision at Winter Park

Winter Park, CO – An 11-year-old Georgia boy died Friday after colliding with two other skiers on a slope at Winter Park.nTyler Safarriyeh, of Alpharetta, Ga., was descending the Colorado ski and snowboard resort’s White Rabbit intermediate run when he collided with an unidentified instructor and a sit-skier. He was transported to the Denver Health East Grand Community Clinic and Emergency Center in Winter Park, where he was pronounced dead Friday afternoon.

Safarriyeh was reportedly wearing a helmet at the time. The cause of death is under investigation.
