Snowfall for the season totaled 276 inches, which is over four feet more than the seasonal average of 225 inches.

This Spring Saddleback decided to extend its season by operating weekends into May.  On its closing weekend, the mountain operated four lifts and had 45 trails open.

“We could have operated a few more weekends,” Farmer commented, “but we met our objective of extending the season into May.  It’s now time to focus on our summer programs and events.”

During the non-winter months, Saddleback hosts an annual Bluegrass Festival and other events, weddings and conferences, as well as operates a marina on Rangeley Lake.
