Stratton Mountain, VT – Even though the Southern Hemisphere ski and snowboard season gets underway Friday in Australia, folks in the Northeast aren’t quite ready to hang up their boards for the summer just yet. Stratton Mountain Resort is hosting the last East Coast jam of the season – its Second Annual Mountain Mayhem Rail and Jump Jam on Sunday, May 29.

Get ready for green grass, blue skies and some of the tightest features you’ve seen all season. Get a summertime snow fix and show off the tricks you perfected all winter. Compete for summer-long bragging rights, cash and swag. This “park builder’s pick” event will be built from the snow saved from the massive US Open Snowboarding features.

Participants can register in advance for $20 at Active.com; day-of registration costs $30. The fee includes a BBQ on the day of the event. Check in takes place near the gondola from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The rail jam kicks off at 11:00 a.m.
