“The Alpine Sport Committee is pleased to announce a strong New Zealand Ski Team ahead of the upcoming winter season and the second 100% Pure NZ Winter Games,” said Nils Coberger, men’s head coach and national team selector. “Griffin, who has a world ranking of 135 in giant slalom, will be joined by top junior males Adam Barwood and Nick Prebble.  Sarah Jarvis and Taylor Rapley lead the way for the women’s team.

“Two of New Zealand’s top athletes, Allie McGlinn and Leighton Winsloe, are currently injured but hope to be back on snow by the end of the southern hemisphere winter.  Their return will further strengthen the team,” said Coberger.Selections were made by national team selectors and based solely on the national selection criteria.
