New TechnoAlpin fan guns on the Fanciful trail are more efficient than the equipment presently lining the slope, allowing the run to open earlier and stay open later in the season. The addition of lighting will allow the trail to be used for the first time during night skiing and snowboarding sessions.

In addition to the snowmaking upgrades and new lighting, Whitetail is installing a new moving carpet conveyor to ease loading of the EZ Rider Quad Lift. The resort is purchasing a new rental fleet this summer featuring Elan skis and Dalbello boots, and installing new air conditioning in the Marketplace to make the base lodge available for weddings, banquets and other private events. The ski area’s ski and snowboard check will be expanded for next season, and a second outdoor patio with heated pavers is being installed.
