Hunter, NY – WDST Radio Woodstock, the organizers of Mountain Jam are launching Bluestock, a new blues festival at New York State’s Hunter Mountain ski area set for August 26-28.
The festival lineup includes three days of world-class blues sifting through the Catskill Mountain air from performers including Gregg Allman, Buddy Guy, Elvin Bishop, Trombone Shorty (of HBO’s Treme), Tommy Castro & LRBR (2008 Blues Entertainer of the Year), Curtis Salgado (inspiration for the Blues Brothers), Ronnie Baker Brooks, Tab Benoit, Moreland & Arbuckle, and more. A total of 22 bands will perform on three stages with action film star Steven Seagal as special guest MC.
