The Yeti Pass gives parents with students participating in the Ski Utah Fifth and Sixth Grade Passport program, through which fifth and sixth graders ski free, a complement to join their children. It’s also perfect for anyone who has ever wanted to explore the state’s 14 resorts.

The Yeti Pass is good for one lift ticket at every Utah ski and snowboard resort during the 2011-12 season:  Alta Ski Area, Beaver Mountain, Brian Head Resort, Brighton Resort, Canyons Resort, Deer Valley Resort, Eagle Point, Park City Mountain Resort, Powder Mountain Resort, Snowbasin Resort, Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort, Solitude Mountain Resort, Sundance and Wolf Mountain.  Deer Valley does not honor the Yeti Pass December 26, 2011 to January 1, 2012, due to their limitation of total daily lift ticket sales. The pass is nontransferable and a photo ID must be presented with a completely intact Yeti Pass booklet resort voucher at any resort lift ticket window to receive a same day lift pass.

Ski Utah is also inviting all Yeti Pass holders to participate in the first ever Yeti of the Year contest. The first advanced pass holder to successfully ski all 14 Utah resorts will be awarded a heli-ski day with Wasatch Powderbird Guides. Beginner and intermediate winners will be awarded an as-yet-undefined alternative prize of equal value. To participate, pass holders must take a photo of themselves at each resort ticket window with their lift ticket and Yeti Pass booklet, post it on the Ski Utah Yeti Facebook fan page and tag each photo “Ski Utah Yeti.”  Pass holders may only visit one resort per day.
