Alta, UT – A newly formed non-profit, the Alta Chamber and Visitors Bureau (ACVB), has announced the launch of the Utah ski resort village organization’s web site discoveralta.com.

“We believe Alta is unique for its genuineness, intimate mountain environment and world class recreational opportunities,” said ACVB Board President, Adrienne Ruderman. “Our mission is to draw people to Alta through focused marketing efforts and exciting tools like our new website.”

Previous marketing efforts in the Alta business community were administered through the Town of Alta’s Alta Visitor Bureau. Community business leaders indentified the desire to redirect efforts through a non-profit organization modeled after similar entities in other ski resort communities.

“One of our primary goals was to achieve greater participation within the business community,” added Ruderman. “By recruiting business owners to become board members, we have been able to meet that goal. To date, board members have actively recruited nearly every business in the community.”
