Rail Jam on Snow Sept. 2 in Vermont

Bolton, VT – For those who are desperate to get back on snow again this season, Vermont’s Bolton Valley resort is offering up a bit of “snow” Labor Day Weekend at the Labor of Love Rail Jam, set for Friday evening, Sept. 2.

The window of opportunity is small—only one hour is available to satisfy ski and snowboard desires until the resort officially opens in December—but ski area officials say that they expect that one hour to be a family fun-filled time. The friendly competition also is the kick-off to Vermont’s Largest Ski and Snowboard sale, held at Bolton Valley Sept. 1-5 and Sept. 9-11.

“To some it may feel like a tease to only be on snow for an hour and then have to wait another three plus months for the real deal,” said Josh Arneson, marketing director at Bolton Valley Resort. “But we expect it to be a fun time for kids and families, and it’s a perfect complement for the largest ski and snowboard sale in Vermont. We hope people will come out and celebrate a bit of pre-season fun with us and get psyched for what’s to come.”
