Silverton, CO – A sharp cold front dropped snow across the mountains of Colorado and Utah over the weekend, and where the wind piled snow into drifts some intrepid Silverton Mountain ski patrollers got their first turns of the season in on  Sunday.

After a series of snowy nights at Silverton Mountain, a few lucky ski patrollers jumped on the chairlift on Sunday and headed to the top of Silverton Mountain to make turns.
