Ohioans Get Skis Tuned for a Good Cause

Aspen’s technicians perform ski tunes that include wet belt sanding, stone grinding, edge sharpening with bevel and de-tuning, and an iron-on Swix hot wax. Normally, this type of complete tune-up would run customers $24.95. But as part of Aspen’s opening summer sale, tune-ups are reduced to $10 until October 2nd and $1 from each tune-up will also go to support The Adaptive Adventure Sports Coalition (TAASC), a Columbus-based non-profit that helps folks with disabilities take part in adventure sports like skiing, cycling, and kayaking.

For more information, contact the shop at (877) 861-0777 or go online at www.aspenskiandboard.com. Aspen has two Ohio shops, one just north of Columbus and a second location in Upper Arlington.
