Snowbird, UT – The Snowbird Sports Educational Foundation (SBSEF) is holding its annual ski and snowboard equipment swap at Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort from Friday through Sunday this weekend.
The sale starts at Noon on Friday and runs until Sunday at 6 p.m. The public is welcome to haul their gear up Little Cottonwood Canyon to sell in the Swap or just donate to a great cause, for the Swap is an annual fund-raiser to benefit SBSEF, which is a 501(c)3 organization that provides ski and snowboard training to Utah youth. Swap organizers do not accept gear older than 10 years. Twenty-five percent of sales will go to SBSEF. Donations are in most cases tax deductible and unsold equipment will need to be picked up by 6 p.m. on Sunday or it will be considered a donation.
Admission to the swap, held on Level 2 of Snowbird Center is free of charge. Swap hours are from noon to 7 p.m. on Friday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. For more information call (801) 943-5628 ext. 1 or visit www.sbsef.com/swap.
