Bridgton, ME – Shawnee Peak in Bridgton has hired a new Marketing Director, Rachael Wilkinson. In her new position, Wilkinson will lead the strategic and day-to-day marketing operations of the ski resort.
Prior to Shawnee Peak, Wilkinson was Director of Client Services at Glen Group where she was responsible for many of the agency’s larger clients. With over eight years of experience and having worked with clients diverse in scope and size, including Pearl Izumi, Cannon Mountain, and Settlers’ Green Outlet Village, Wilkinson’s knowledge base is well suited to her new role. Her skills will be put to use as a she injects new life into an already successful marketing campaign for the resort. Wilkinson is a native of New Zealand and graduated from the University of Otago.
“I’m excited to join the Shawnee Peak team, and I am looking forward to implementing new ideas to grow and promote the resort,” says Wilkinson. “Working at Shawnee Peak, a mountain I’ve skied for many years, seems too good to be true.”
Shawnee Peak is a member of Mountains of Distinction, a group of 17 independent ski resorts in the Northeastern, Mid-Atlantic, Midwestern United States, and Canada that work together to enhance a family’s skiing experience. As a seasons pass holder, a customer is entitled to a 50 percent discount off mid-week tickets and $15 off on Saturdays, Sundays and Holiday periods at Shawnee Peak’s sister resorts, including Jay Peak and Okemo in Vermont, Wachusett and Jiminy Peak in Massachusetts, Mount Sunapee in New Hampshire, and Ski Windham in New York.
