New Warren Miller Ski Film Premieres Friday in Salt Lake

Salt Lake City, UT – “When it is snowing in the city, you know that it is dumping in the mountains…puking,” says professional skier and Salt Lake local Caroline Gleich. Little and Big Cottonwood Canyons resorts each average more than 500 inches of dry powder every year and, in fact, already received nearly two feet last week.

In partnership with Visit Salt Lake, this season’s Warren Miller Entertainment ski and snowboard film, …Like There’s No Tomorrow,  will screen its world premiere in Utah this Friday at Abravanel Hall in Salt Lake City to launch a worldwide tour that will be stopping in more than 240 U.S. cities, including major markets like Seattle, Chicago and Los Angeles. The premiere will bring an enhanced experience to all filmgoers, as some of the world’s top athletes—including Chris Davenport, Seth Wescott, Daron Rahlves, Rachael Burks, Jess McMillan, Brant Moles, Tim Durtschi, Tyler Ceccanti and more—will all be in attendance.

In addition, Warren Miller Entertainment partners and other Salt Lake ski industry leaders are teaming up to construct a massive Different By Nature sponsor village in the courtyard outside Abravanel Hall, offering film attendees a chance to win prizes, meet athletes and listen to music before the screening of . . . Like There’s No Tomorrow at 8:00 p.m. Salt Lake’s Alta, Brighton, Snowbird and Solitude, as well as Canyons Resort, Pentax, Cuties, SKI Magazine, Spyder, Go Pro, K2, Kastle, First Ascent, Red Bull, Level Nine Sports and more will all be on site helping to jumpstart the winter sports season.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Visit Salt Lake to put on this World Premiere presentation of . . . Like There’s No Tomorrow,” announced the film’s director and executive producer Max Bervy. “Salt Lake City is a perfect place for us to kick off this year’s North American film tour, and we are excited to bring this very special, onetime event to the Salt Lake area ski community.”

Plus, film attendees will receive a free lift ticket to Canyons Resort and exclusive access to lift ticket and retail discounts from Alta, Brighton, Snowbird, Solitude and Level Nine Sports.
