Crested Butte, CO – Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR) will host Yoga Rocks the Butte, a family oriented winter yoga festival scheduled for Feb. 10-12, 2012. The event, which will be hosted at the Elevation Hotel and Spa in the base area of the Colorado ski and snowboard resort, will feature yoga, music, meditation, skiing and riding, and many other winter activities.
“We are thrilled that so many world-renowned instructors and musicians are participating in Yoga Rocks the Butte,” states Monica Mesa, founder of Yoga Rocks the Butte, which will benefit the non-profit organization Yoga World Reach. “This is the first ever winter family yoga festival and we encourage attendees to bring along their kids.”
The event includes workshops with Shiva Rea, Micheline Berry, Shakti Sunfire, as well as concerts with Dave Stringer, Govindas, Steve Gold, and many other artists. Kids programming, childcare and activities will be available for kids ages two through teen, ensuring that everyone will be part of the festivities and encouraging the entire family to participate.
Early bird festival rates are $354 with no food included and $415 for a package that includes two all-organic breakfasts and two all-organic lunches. There are also special intensives on Thursday, Feb. 9 from 1 to 5 p.m. for an extra cost.
