Aspen, CO – New Orleans rock n’ roll band, Cowboy Mouth, will play the first free Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert of the ski season on Saturday, Nov. 26 at 6:30 p.m. The concert will be followed by the Aspen Winternational World Cup giant slalom awards and a fireworks show over Aspen Mountain.
Known for the popular songs “Jenny Says,” “How Do You Tell Someone?” and “Love of My Life,” Cowboy Mouth will bring their high energy and infectious sounds to the base of Aspen Mountain.
This is the first concert in a series of five free Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert Series that will take place during key weekends throughout the season. Past Hi-Fi performers include Big Boi, Ghostland Observatory, Donovan Frankenreiter, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe and more. Additional acts will be announced throughout the season and are booked in partnership with Belly Up Aspen.
A Bud Light Beer Garden will offer $3 beer specials and the Ajax Tavern will also have a $3 draft beer special and $15 burger and beer happy hour special throughout the night.
While Snowmass is opening early for the ski season this Saturday, Aspen Mountain will open as scheduled on Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 24. A few days later the world’s fastest women skiers will race down Aspen Mountain for the Nature Valley Aspen Winternational Audi FIS Alpine World Cup, Nov. 26-27.
Spectators will convene at the base of Lift 1A on Aspen Mountain to enjoy prime viewing of the finish line from the grandstands. Live television coverage by NBC and Versus will capture the excitement that embodies World Cup racing. The event is free and open to the public.
