Park City, UT –U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) President and CEO, Bill Marolt, announced today that Chief Revenue and Marketing Officer Andrew Judelson, is leaving the organization this month to take a senior position with WWE, a global wrestling and entertainment company.
“In the past 18 months our organization has made great strides in establishing more productive business partnerships to support our athletic programs and grow our brands,” said Marolt. “We are fortunate that Andrew has established a structure and direction which will benefit us moving forward.”
During his 18 month tenure at the USSA, Judelson contributed to strong growth in the organization’s business and addition of new long-term partners, helping to establish a strong business enterprise model and stable staff team.
“I’m proud of what our team has done here at the USSA in building a valuable business enterprise,” said Judelson. “I have a great passion for this athletic organization and hope to continue to contribute in the future. I know that the team here will continue to build and grow our business and brands.”
Marolt announced that an aggressive search for Judelson’s replacement is already underway, while indicating that the organization has a capable team of leaders who will continue to move forward in a positive manner in the interim.
“The leadership position in this area is very important to us,” said Marolt. “We have already engaged an outside firm to assist us in an accelerated management search to fill the position as quickly as possible.”
Judelson continues on in his career after working as as chief marketing officer for Sports Illustrated Group before coming to the USSA, as well as senior vice president of corporate sales and marketing with the National Hockey League. He also worked closely with the USSA while a manager of corporate sponsorships and events for Sprint in the mid ’90s.
