Nederland, CO – The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a snowboarder collision that occurred Saturday afternoon at Eldora ski area in Nederland for possible criminal charges.
At approximately 1:35 p.m. on Saturday, Boulder County Sheriff’s deputies, Pridemark Paramedics and Nederland Fire Rescue responded to Eldora Mountain Resort on a report of a collision between two snowboarders. Ski patrol were initially alerted of the collision and responded to the scene.
The two snowboarders, a15-year-old male and 35-year-old male, were transported to Boulder Community Hospital with what the Sheriff’s Office describes serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office are investigating the accident and will determine if either of the snowboarders will be facing criminal charges.
