Park City, UT – The Park City community has joined together in celebration of the 10^th anniversary of the 2002 Olympic Winter Games.

A variety of Olympic-related activities are scheduled in February beginning with a February 1 event on Main Street in Park City.  During these events, community members will have a chance to meet Olympic athletes, view special memorabilia exhibits, share Olympic experiences and immerse in the Olympic spirit once again.

PARK CITY COMMUNITY CELEBRATION

February 1 from 5-9 p.m. – Free event

Join the Olympic fun with highlight videos, Olympic athletes, Opening of Kimball Art Center Special Retrospective 2002 Exhibit, Olympic spirit contest, pin trading, Olympic mascots, a free concert from Robert Randolph and fireworks.  This community celebration kicks off the FIS Freestyle World Cup at Deer Valley Resort.  For more information go to www.visitparkcity.com/events/annual-special-events/olympic-anniversary/.

UTAH OLYMPIC PARK COMMUNITY CELEBRATION
Utah Olympic Park, Park City
February 9 from 5–6 p.m. – Free event

Celebrate with 2002 Olympic and Paralympic athletes who have special ties to the Park City & Summit County community.  Grand Opening of Silver Bean Coffee Café at Utah Olympic Park featuring Silver Bean Coffee founder, Olympic medalist Shannon Bahrke.  Coffee, hot chocolate and treats.

Exhibit of Official Olympic photographs and memorabilia. Post your own photographs and memories on the community wall downstairs. Monday-Thursday 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Friday 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Saturday 12-7 p.m., Sunday 12-5 p.m.
