Moguls Skier Heather McPhie Signs On as Moonlight Basin Ski Ambassador

Big Sky, MT – Montana’s Moonlight Basin ski resort has announced the addition of Heather McPhie to the resort team as official ambassador of the resort for the 2012 season. McPhie, a Montana native from nearby Bozeman, is an Olympian and U.S. Ski Team freestyle mogul skier who competed for the US Olympic Freestyle Team at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

In her role as Ambassador at Moonlight Basin, McPhie will participate in autograph sessions, meet & greet sessions with skiers, a ski demo day and she’ll also be posting snow updates and news to her social media channels throughout the season.

“We’re excited to welcome Heather to the Moonlight Basin team – she has incredible talent that resonates with skiers and snowboarders alike and the success she has had on the world stage is an inspiration for all,” says Moonlight Basin General Manager, Greg Pack.  “As a Bozeman local, her ties to the area are a natural fit for Moonlight and we are looking forward to working with Heather as she prepares for yet another Olympic run.”
