Park City, UT – World Cup moguls skier Bradley Wilson and NorAm bumps ace Ali Kariotis, along with aerials standouts Kiley McKinnon and Mike Rossi headline a team of 19 American athletes bound for the 2012 FIS Freestyle Junior World Ski Championships set for March 20-24 in Valmalenco, Italy.
U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association officials announced the team on Monday afternoon. Wilson, of Butte, Mont., is currently ranked eighth in the World Cup moguls standings. McKinnon, from Madison, Conn., won the 2012 aerials NorAm GrandPrix. Also named to the team, moguls NorAm Grand Prix winner and NorAm Rookie of the Year Dylan Walczyk, of Frisco, Colo., will make his debut appearance in the Junior Worlds this year.
Valmalenco is located 95 miles northeast of Milan, and six miles south of the Swiss border. The 2012 FIS Freestyle Junior World Ski Championships will run concurrently with the U.S. Freestyle Championships in Stratton, VT.
