Mt. Hood, OR – The third annual Mazot Fest, which takes place tomorrow at Mt. Hood Meadows ski resort in Oregon, is “going to the dogs.”
Enter the charitable fun race, or watch others do the same, to raise money for Mt. Hood Meadows’ avalanche rescue dogs.
Mazot Fest, sponsored by Double Mountain Brewery, will be taking place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Each run will cost $10 and awards will be based on the fastest male, female, skier and snowboarder. Race officials will be handing out swag and other prizes, too.
Check-in begins shortly after 9 a.m. at the Mazot on-mountain restaurant at Mt. Hood Meadows. The race will start above the Mazot and the entire course will be spectator friendly with great viewing areas primarily from the Mazot.
Last year the event raised $1,500 for Meadows’ avy dogs.
