The resort will operate Chairs #6, Cornice Express, #10, Wagon Wheel, and #11, The Reut, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. No determination has been made for potential operations beyond May 6.

“There is still enough snow at Kirkwood to allow us to stay open an additional weekend for our valued guests,” said Casey Blann, Kirkwood general manager. “You can’t beat the gorgeous weather we have had in Tahoe the last two weekends, and the spring skiing for next weekend looks to be just as good, or even better.”

Lift ticket prices for this weekend have yet to be announced.
