London, UK – The Ski Club of Great Britain has announced that Frank McCusker will take up the position of Chief Executive, effective July 2.
McCusker joins the Club after a successful career within marketing services in the travel and leisure sector, and as a Managing Director and subsequently Vice President of EMEA within the Carlson Marketing Group, with responsibilities for loyalty and direct and digital marketing. He has also held the role of Global General Manager for customer loyalty specialists ICLP Group.
More recently McCusker’s role within a smaller entrepreneurial and venture capital-backed business has focused on using technology to measure and improve customer satisfaction and experience. He has also run his own consultancy business.
Ski Club Chairman, Neil Britten said, “We are delighted that Frank McCusker has decided to join us. He brings tremendous breadth of experience both of the travel and leisure industry and customer satisfaction and loyalty in general, which are two of the most critical aspects of attracting and retaining members for our membership organization. Frank’s track record and success as a leader and builder of successful organizations will take the Club forward.”
“I am excited by this opportunity to build on the Ski Club’s nearly 110-year legacy to ensure a vibrant thriving Club, relevant to all ages and types of snow sports enthusiast,” said McCusker.
When he’s not working, McCusker enjoys skiing with his family, and is also a qualified rugby coach.
In November, the Club announced the appointment of another new executive, naming Frank Gardner to the position of President.
