Park City, UT – The number one-ranked U.S. women’s ski jumping team, based in Park City, will be holding its annual gala fundraising event at 6 p.m. next Friday, July 13, at the Utah Olympic Park.

Women’s Ski Jumping USA, the team’s primary sponsor, is targeting $100,000 from the event to help pay for the team’s training, travel, equipment and coaching expenses for the World Cup and more. Women ski jumpers will make history in 2014 in their first appearance in an Olympic Winter Games.

Members of the U.S. team will jump off the park’s K120 hill to offer guests standing at the top of the in-run an up-close-and-personal look at the sport as eight specially selected guests will serve as a VIP Coach’s Assistant and “flag” the ski jumpers to signal their official start. Gourmet food by Cuisine Unlimited, drink, a live and silent auction of luxurious items and trips, and acoustic entertainment by High Water will be provided.

During the event, Women’s Ski Jumping USA will present its new logo by famed designer Lindon Leader, creator of the FedEx logo.
