Telluride, CO – Police and ski resort officials are investigating a series of trail sign thefts at Telluride ski resort in Colorado.
In all a dozen trail signs ranging from Gold Hill to Joint Point are missing, valued at $300 apiece. The San Miguel County Sheriff’s Office believes that the thefts, discovered over the July 4th holiday, occurred over a series of days in June and likely required a vehicle and a ladder to complete. Deputies are interviewing multiple people regarding the thefts, including ski resort employees.
Ski resort officials have offered a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the perpetrator or perpetrators.
