Sutton (QC), Canada – With the arrival of fall colors and cool, crisp air, the Mont Sutton Fall Festival is in full swing.
Every weekend through Oct. 14, Mont Sutton offers guests activities including zip lining, star gazing, the art of mycology and creativity through Land Art. Of course, the Quebec ski resort also offers picturesque fall views via chairlift rides and guided hikes including a special yoga hike, while live jazz music plays at the foot of the hill.
Chairlift rides take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends for a cost of C$10 per person. Children up to 7 years old ride free of charge. Other base area activities for children include a mini obstacle course and a musical merry-go-round., free for children up to 7 years old). Amerindian storytelling and legends with Mère Soleil will share Native American storytelling and legends with giant puppets and temporary tattoos for kids.
Adults may partake in a wine tasting from vineyards along the Brome-Missisquoi Wine Route, or work out in a pre-season ski training camp. Horse drawn carriage rides will provide fun for all.
