Sun Valley, ID – Sun Valley took advantage of cold temperatures last night to test the snowmaking system and lay down some white stuff on the slopes of the Idaho ski resort.

Temperatures dipped to a brisk 17ºF overnight, allowing Sun Valley to turn on and test the snowmaking guns in preparation for the 2012-13 winter season, set to open on November 22.
