Beverly Hills, CA – Ski season is almost here, and a new training technology has now debuted in the U.S.
SkyTechSport, a cutting edge alpine ski and snowboard simulator that allows users to experience the same G-force effects they would in well-carved turns on a real slope, is now open in Beverly Hills, Calif. Started in Europe and developed by physicists, applied mathematicians and computer engineers, this unique training machine utilizes computer sequences, power drives, sensors and a projection system that generates a huge virtual image of 170 square feet of a ski slope. Slalom and giant slalom course can even be created.
It is currently available in 100 training locations worldwide in countries such as Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Russia and Greece and is now launching for the first time at a permanent location in the U.S. SkyTechSport’s new location in Beverly Hills is intended by the company to serve as a dedicated growth center to expand SkyTechSports Ski and Fit Chain throughout Northern America. The plan is to offer professional training year round and expand skiing and snowboarding beyond its seasonal boundaries.
For beginners, it can establish solid technique from day one and build confidence in a safe environment. For advanced skiers, it makes it easier to become accustomed to the modern carving technique and keep up their muscle tone, fitness and technique off season or before heading up to the mountain. And for others, it’s an exciting, out of the ordinary workout.
SkyTechSports is now open at 243 N. Robertson Blvd. in Beverly Hills. Training sessions may be booked by phoning (800) 405-5025 or online at www.skytechsport.com.
