Last Tuesday Russell Watts, of Butler, Ohio, was installing the lift in Clear Fork’s new 10-lane Northern Lights snow tubing park when his arm became entangled in the machinery and was torn from his body at the shoulder. Watts was airlifted to Akron General Hospital, where he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit in serious condition.

No further word regarding Watts’ condition was available.

Clear Fork was closed for six years before reopening last winter.  Its new snow tubing park is scheduled to open on Dec. 7.
