Celebrate Mont Sutton’s Anniversary with Old-Fashioned $5 Lift Tickets

Sutton (QC), Canada – Quebec’s Mont Sutton will celebrate its anniversary this Monday. For this occasion, this Eastern Townships ski hill will offer all-day lift tickets at C$5 to every skier and snowboarder, as well as provide a sneak peek of the upcoming activities for the 2012-13 season.

On Monday, take a run or two on free gear demos and see how today’s modern ski and snowboard equipment can change your ski experience on the slopes. Check out the gear outside the Alt. 400m chalet.

Skiers and snowboarders of every age will have the opportunity to take part in a rally on the hill – just like the ones that are organized during Christmas Holidays and during School Break at Mont Sutton. On top of having a fun time, get a chance to win official Mont Sutton prizes. Registration takes place on site, in the main chalet Alt. 400m.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Clinique de Massothérapie Joël Denis will be in the main chalet Alt. 400m to offer guests free chair massage specifically to meet the needs of people aged 50 years old and over. This is the same type of massage that will be offered during the seven consecutive “Club 50+” Tuesdays at Sutton.

For a sneak peek of the seven consecutive “Divas on skis” Thursdays, Satya Yoga Sutton will offer free winter yoga session to give you a taste of what awaits ladies before hitting the slopes.

Finally, starting at 2 p.m. enjoy the après-ski at the Bar Le Tucker and taste two kinds of beers: the Kronenbourg 1664 and the Stout. Prizes will also be given to the winners of the rally.

And of course, an anniversary day wouldn’t be the same without a birthday cake. At 1 p.m. on Monday, Mont Sutton  invites all to wish and sing “Happy Birthday” and treat themselves to a piece of cake. Make sure to show up before the last piece is handed out.

All of the activities on the program on December 17 will be free of charge.
