Mountain High Extends Night Skiing

Wrightwood, CA – Increasing popularity has prompted officials at Mountain High to extend the southern California ski and snowboard resort’s night skiing hours to seven nights per week this month.

The new extended schedule will continue through Jan. 27. After the 27th the Wrightwood resort will decide whether to return to its normal Wednesday through Friday schedule or remain open every night from 5 to 10 p.m.

“I love skiing at night.  It’s so peaceful and serene,” says Chris McConnel from Fullerton, Calif., who recently visited Mountain High for a night session. “And with a schedule like mine, evenings are the only time I can get away.  Thanks Mountain High!”

Mountain High is currently the only mountain in the region to offer night skiing every night of the week.  Eighty five percent of the West Resort is lit including the terrain park and their beginner area.  Many head to the resort’s  Bullwheel Bar & Grill after skiing and take a seat by the fireplace to warm up with a hot cocktail.
