Ski Utah Partners with Delta and University of Utah Health Care

Salt Lake City, UT – Ski Utah on Wednesday announced two new partnerships for the 2012-13 ski and snowboard season with Delta Air Lines and University of Utah Health Care. Both brands are new additions to Ski Utah’s existing sponsorship line-up and bring unique, new assets to Ski Utah.

“These two partners provide new outlets to help us continue to spread the word about skiing in Utah,” said Raelene Davis, director of marketing at Ski Utah. “Both companies coming on board show us that there is an ever-growing interest in Utah’s ski product and will help in our quest to promote Utah as the premier winter ski destination and ultimately grow skier visits.”

Access is one of Utah’s main resort strengths, and with Salt Lake City as one of Delta Air Lines’ main hubs this partnership makes accessibility even easier. The partnership not only will help spread the word on “The Greatest Snow on Earth” to a broader audience, but also helps continue to build a strong relationship between the state and the airline. With 76 destinations with 236 peak-day departures, Ski Utah works hard with airlines to ensure affordable and sufficient non-stop flights from its key markets.

“Delta is proud to commit to a sponsorship opportunity that helps bolsters our long-standing relationship with the state of Utah.” said Robert Bourrier, District Manager Sales – National Account Sales for Delta Airlines. “With the most flights and destinations, as well as top products and services, Delta is the natural choice for travelers coming to Utah to take advantage of the Greatest Snow on Earth.”

University of Utah Health Care is a world-renowned medical facility and the only academic health care system in the Intermountain West. Providing everything from routine care to highly specialized treatments, care is available to Utahans, residents of five surrounding states and destination visitors. Having the University of Utah Health Care available to visitors provides peace of mind for skiers and snowboarders alike while vacationing in Utah. The partnership also brings a new, broader audience for Ski Utah to speak to as well as brings light to the health benefits of getting out and enjoying the mountains.
