Alta’s Snowpine Lodge Partners With Wasatch Powderbird Guides

Alta, UT – The intimate Snowpine Lodge in Alta and Wasatch Powderbird Guides have recently partnered to create a new heli-ski experience in Utah; cozy and warm like more remote heli-ski locations, but with the advantage of an international airport located just 45 minutes away. And if it is snowing too hard to fly, guests can ski world class lift-served powder right out the door at Alta.

“We want to help guests book a seamless, all inclusive heli-ski adventure with all the luxury and glamor of more distant locations. Though it couldn’t be easier to get to, once here guests feel like they are a million miles away. It is a perfect combination,” says Robin Cohen, Director of Sales and Marketing at Snowpine Lodge.

The Snowpine Lodge was completely remodeled this past summer, but has managed to retain its enchanting mining era feel. Deep leather couches, fluffy down comforters, high thread count linens and multiple public living areas make guests feel more like they are in a beautifully appointed home rather than a hotel. The professional staff sees to every detail. The Snowpine package includes full breakfast and dinner, and the new chef, Nate Nagy is quickly gaining a great reputation for his food.

With its heliport located less than a mile from the Snowpine, Wasatch Powderbird Guides  is celebrating their 40th season in business, taking adventurous travelers on heli-ski trips to the backcountry of Utah’s majestic Wasatch mountains.

For Private groups, heli pickups can be arranged right at the Snowpine.
