New York, NY – Crews from Gore Mountain ski area, in the Adirondack community of North Creek, N.Y., have arrived in New York City’s Central Park to make snow ahead of Saturday’s Winter Jam.

Presented by the New York City Parks Department and the Olympic Regional Development Authority (ORDA), Winter Jam NYC is a free annual winter sports festival that encourages New Yorkers to get out and enjoy the outdoors in the colder months.
Activities available on Saturday will include cross country skiing, snowshoeing, a rail jam and alpine ski and snowboard lessons, plus live entertainment. Equipment will be provided at no cost to participants.
