Sochi, Russia – From Wednesday through Sunday the Olympic test events will be staged in Sochi, Russia, providing both athletes and local Winter Games organizers a chance to get to know the area and the slopes, and provide valuable insight into staging large-scale events at the 2014 Olympic facilities.
Four different FIS Snowboard World Cup competitions will be hosted at the Rosa Khutor Extreme Park & Freestyle Center: halfpipe, parallel giant slalom, parallel slalom and snowboard cross. Almost every snowboarder who wants to compete for gold, silver and bronze at Sochi 2014 is expected to show up to compete.
