“Tap Into Vermont” Welcomes Visitors During Maple and Spring Ski Season

Montpelier, VT – The Vermont Dept. of Tourism and Marketing, Vermont’s Chief Marketing Office, Ski Vermont, Vermont Maple Sugar Makers, Cabot Creamery and Long Trail Brewery have joined together with Amtrak to showcase Vermont’s spring skiing and maple sugaring season – aboard Amtrak trains for five Fridays in a row. On board ambassadors are providing information, concierge services, goodies and ski deals. Travelers are also sampling Cabot cheddar, Vermont maple sugar and Long Trail beer (on March 1 only).

“This finely orchestrated collaboration across the private and public sectors speaks to the significance of our state’s cultural ties to agriculture and premium products, be it maple, dairy and craft beer, as well as the much revered ski train tradition,” Kathy Murphy, Chief Marketing Officer for the State of Vermont said.
