Utah’s Snowbasin Resort to Host On-Snow Demo to Benefit Adaptive Sports

Huntsville, UT – Snowbasin Adaptive Sports Education Foundation has announced its 2013 On-Snow Demo Day & Charity Raffle, set for Saturday, March 16 at Snowbasin Resort in Huntsville.  Skis from 11 major manufacturers and snowboards from Burton will be available to try between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. in exchange for a $20 donation to the foundation.

Manufacturers’ tents will be located on the snow next to Earl’s Lodge Patio.  Raffle tickets are also available for purchase during the festivities.

Snowbasin will be opening the mountain on that Saturday to mid-week season pass holders so they can have the opportunity to test some of the best ski and snowboard equipment as well as donate to a great cause.

A 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the Snowbasin Adaptive Sports Education Foundation provides winter sports experiences for people of all ages with disabilities. The funds raised during the Demo Day & Raffle will go towards purchasing specialized equipment as well as providing scholarships for students from Northern Utah.
