Boise, ID – This Sunday is the final day of the ski and ride season at Bogus Basin above Boise, and anyone dressed in a costume for the occasion will receive a free lift ticket to ski or snowboard for the day. Those opting for an Easter Bunny costume will also receive a free hot chocolate by picking up a token at the resort’s Simplot ticket office.
Bogus Basin’s Deer Point (#1), Superior (#3), Coach (#7), Morning Star (#2) and Easy Rider Carpet lifts will operate this weekend. Bogus officials have also planned live outdoor music and a free scavenger hunt featuring over 50 big Pabst Blue Ribbons for adults, and over 50 big flowers for kids, hidden all over the mountain to help celebrate the close of another winter season.
Current operating hours for Bogus Basin’s alpine and Nordic ski trails are weekdays from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., and weekends from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Those seeking cross-country ski lessons are advised to call (208) 332-5390 in advance.
