Mt. Charleston, NV – Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort (LVSSR) will close for the winter ski season this Sunday, and the day will culminate with LVSSR’s tradition Pond Skim competition.
All season pass and day lift ticket holders are welcome to participate. Prizes will be awarded based on best costume, biggest splash and crowd favorite. Local entertainer Tommy Rocker will perform for the crowd and the Pond Skim awards will be presented on the patio immediately following the competition.
An Easter egg hunt for children and adults will be held at 11 a.m. and other related activities for children and adults will follow.
The schedule of events this Sunday at LVSSR is as follows:
- 11:00 a.m. Easter Egg Hunt (adults and children)
- 12:00 p.m. Bunny Chase
- 1:30 p.m. Pond Skim Competition
- 2:30 p.m. Music by Tommy Rocker
- 3:30 p.m. Pond Skim Awards
