Mt. Charleston, NV – Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort (LVSSR) is the latest to join the trend of offering skiing privileges at other resort to its season pass holders.
For the first time in the area’s history, unlimited season passes include benefits such as three free lift tickets each at Boreal Mountain Resort in Soda Springs, Calif.; Brian Head Resort in Brian Head, Utah; and Eaglecrest Ski Area in Juneau, Alaska. Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe in Reno, Nev. will offer LVSSR passholders $49 lift tickets, while Powderhorn Mountain Resort in Mesa, Colo., and Arizona Snowbowl in Flagstaff, Ariz. will offer half-price lift tickets. Purchasers of the resort’s Battle Born and midweek passes are not eligible for these additional benefits.
LVSSR’s youth season pass includes the License 2 Ride program that offers free access to LVSSR’s sister resorts also operated by Powdr Corp. including Boreal Mountain Resort in California, Copper Mountain Resort in Colorado, Killington Mountain Resort in Vermont, Mt. Bachelor Resort in Oregon and Park City Mountain Resort in Utah. Youth pass holders can also enjoy $100 off Woodward Camps at Tahoe, while adult LVSSR season pass holders are eligible for a 20 percent discount on lift tickets at other Powdr Corp. properties. They can also purchase up to four LVSSR full day lift tickets for friends and family at a discounted price of $40 during the season, excluding all holiday periods and blackout dates.
Adult LVSSR are on sale now for $499 at pre-season pricing until October 1, or $249 for those ages 17 and under. The resort’s planned season opening is set for Friday, November 29, although they have made an effort in recent years to make snow as soon as weather conditions allow.
