Alta Encourages Everyone to Sleep Around

Alta, UT – “Sleeping around” may have a different connotation amongst ski bums the world over, but Alta Ski Area — or more accurately, the Utah town’s chamber of commerce — has come up with its own take on the concept.

The Alta Chamber and Visitors Bureau (ACVB) is hosting the first-ever Alta Sleep Around. This new ski vacation package will highlight the variety of lodging options available in Alta, allowing guests to stay in three of the five different independent lodges during the Alta Sleep Around and experience all that Alta has to offer.

“This package is quite unique, not only the nature of the promotion but the way the idea came about from Alta’s dedicated and supportive business community,” says ACVB Coordinator Maggie Sullivan. “We are very excited to welcome skiers that have not yet had the experience of staying at Alta.”

The all-inclusive, three-day package includes one night each at three of Alta’s five unique ski-in, ski-out lodges: Alta Lodge, Alta Peruvian Lodge, Alta’s Rustler Lodge, Goldminer’s Daughter Lodge and Snowpine Lodge, as well as breakfast and dinner each day at the lodges, on-mountain lunches, lift passes, a demo ski package, a tour with the Alf Engen Ski School and an on-mountain portrait with Peak Photo. Luggage will be transferred for guests to a different lodge each night. Alta Shuttle will provide quick and easy access from Salt Lake International Airport to the ski resort. This early season package is being offered Dec. 5-8 only, at a discounted rate of $898 per person, for single or double occupancy.
