Seven Springs and Hidden Valley Offer Interchangeable Lift Tickets

Seven Springs, PA – Following Seven Springs’ announcement in September that it was acquiring nearby Hidden Valley ski area, the two western Pennsylvania resorts confirmed late last week that they will offer interchangeable lift tickets and pass products this winter for a combined 64 slopes and trails and 10 terrain parks on 395 acres of skiable terrain.

The Highlands Pass features unlimited skiing and snowboarding, any time, any day during the 2013-14 season at both resorts. Existing Seven Springs and Hidden Valley passholders can upgrade to The Highlands Pass for $50 and $100, respectively. For those who do not currently have either season pass, The Highlands Pass starts at $599.

“The Highlands Pass provides our skiers and snowboarders with the opportunity to experience two distinct mountains throughout the winter,” said Eric Mauck, the resorts’ Chief Executive Officer. “Guests of both resorts now have easier access to twice as much terrain in the Laurel Highlands.”

The Highlands Ticket will be available for purchase during weekends this winter. This ticket provides unlimited skiing or snowboarding at both resorts from 9 a.m., Friday through closing that Sunday, and starts at $163.

“The Highlands Ticket is just one example of package offerings at both resorts to draw even more guests to the Laurel Highlands,” said Mauck.  “By offering one vacation at two resort destinations, our hope is to draw even more visitors from regional markets such as Washington, D.C. and Baltimore to our region and lengthen the time they stay.”

Seven Springs finalized its purchase of Hidden Valley on Oct. 1.
