Snow Park Technologies Partners with Mt. Hood Meadows

Mt. Hood, OR – Following a successful collaboration with Snow Park Technologies (SPT) at the end of last season, Mt. Hood Meadows will leverage that momentum by continuing and expanding its relationship with SPT this season.

Collaboration with SPT this winter will include the development of a next level park riding experience on the Oregon ski and snowboard resort’s Shooting Star run. Offering new progressions within the resort’s terrain park program, this park will take full advantage of Shooting Star’s width and length, and can be easily accessed by the Shooting Star Express lift. In addition, the resort has installed a new rope tow at Shipyard that will allow skiers and riders to run repeat laps of the rail park during both day and night sessions.

“We are confident the company-wide commitment we have made to elevate the terrain park program – including the rental equipment we have to offer, the methods of instruction offered through our ski and ride school programs and the terrain park offering itself – will result in an overall experience that will be well received by our guests,” said Tom Scully, Director of Mountain Operations at Mt. Hood Meadows. “Our goal in this initial collaboration with Snow Park Technologies is to enhance the ski and ride experience by offering our guests access to some of the most progressive parks in the West.”
