Warren, VT – Officials at Vermont’s Sugarbush Resort have announced the latest development in Lincoln Peak Village: Gadd Brook Residences.
The construction of Gadd Brook is the next phase of construction in the resort’s Lincoln Peak Village master plan, concept approval of which was received in the summer of 2012. Situated between historic Sugarbush Village and Lincoln Peak base area, the Lincoln Peak Village master plan envisions a 93-unit multi-phase residential development that provides a mixture of ownership opportunities. Rice Brook Residences — the first phase of the plan — created 15 slopeside homes across three buildings, and was completed in late 2013. Gadd Brook will be of similar design in that it will offer a mix of two-, three-, and four-bedroom privately owned condominiums.
“We are excited to continue the development of Lincoln Peak Village,” said Win Smith, President of Sugarbush Resort. “We feel that developing smaller projects within the larger framework — that meet current market demand — is the right course for us.”
The resort has once again hired Jim Edgcomb and Jeff Schoelkoepf of The Design Group of Warren as architects. Naylor and Breen Builders of Brandon, Vt., will serve as the general contractor. The resort will begin permitting the project later this fall. Jim Westhelle, Vice President of Real Estate Development, aims to break ground in April 2015 and have residences ready for occupancy in early 2016.
The new Gadd Brook residences will offer ski-in ski-out access to Lincoln Peak, close proximity to hiking and biking trails, and a several-minute drive to Sugarbush Resort Golf Club.
Sugarbush is now accepting pre-construction reservations for the residences through Sugarbush Resort Real Estate.
