Wilmington, NY – Skiers and riders can join Whiteface Mountain and nearby Lake Placid for some holiday spirit and fun this weekend.
This Sunday, December 13th, all Santas ski for free. Arrive at Whiteface dressed as Santa, participate in a group photo and ski for free all day. Don’t have a Santa costume? Donate a gently used coat or a new toy for a child and receive 50% off your lift ticket. Whiteface teaming up with the Boy Scouts and United Way of the Adirondacks to distribute donations to families in need.
While you’re in town, get into the holiday spirit with Lake Placid’s Annual Holiday Village Stroll this Friday through Sunday. The long weekend is packed with tons of activities for kids and families including a skating party, opportunities to visit with Santa, a bustling Main Street, holiday shopping deals, live music, cookie decorating and story time. Join the morning Jingle Bell Run, a 2.5-mile race for fun around Mirror Lake.
