Deer Valley to Host World Cup for 14th Consecutive Year

Park City, UT – The world’s best aerial and mogul skiers will take to Deer Valley Resort’s slopes again this winter to compete in the 2016 FIS Visa Freestyle International World Cup, held Thursday, February 4 through Saturday, February 6. Regarded as a preeminent venue for the international freestyle community, the Utah ski resort has played host to international and world competitions for 17 consecutive years, including the 2002 Winter Olympic Games, two World Championships and 14 World Cups.

“The FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup brings such an amazing display of athletic ability to our slopes each year,” said Bob Wheaton, president and general manager of Deer Valley Resort. “This event affords visiting guests and Park City locals the chance to watch as competitors twist, fly and race their way to the podium on the same runs used during the 2002 Olympic Winter Games.”
