Park City, UT – A 60-year-old Utah man died on Sunday following a snowboarding accident at Park City Mountain Resort.
Ski patrollers found the man unresponsive and not breathing on one of Park City’s intermediate runs. He was transported by helicopter to the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City, where he was later pronounced dead.
Park City Senior Communications Manager Margo Van Ness said that resort officials extend “their deepest sympathy and support to the family and friends of the man.”
The Summit County Sheriff’s Office has declined to investigate the death. No further details were available at press time.
